He graduated from Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Architecture in 2002. After gaining valuable experience in leading architectural firms, he co-founded Caglayan Architects with Sonat Ongun in 2008. In that same year, he earned recognition by securing a place among the top ten finalists in the Live The Box (Container constructed multi-family mixed-use) idea project competition organized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), which included more than two hundred projects from around the world. In 2015, after achieving 1st and 2nd places in the country for the “Armoni Restaurant” and “Mocca Cafe” projects in the “European Property Awards,” he also secured the 1st place in the entire European Continent with the “Armoni Restaurant” project in the same competition. As a solution partner at Caglayan Architects, he continues his professional journey, collaborating with strong and corporate brands. Alongside his corporate responsibilities, he actively engages in periodic training sessions and seminars at various universities, sharing his extensive experiences with the next generation of architects. Furthermore, he serves as an invited jury member in various competitions.
