Following the completion of the registration process, the nearest gathering area and the most suitable route are determined. The “AFAD Acil” mobile application enables you to initiate a call via voice and message in the event of potential natural disasters, or you can swiftly request assistance using automatic messages. Developed by AKUT Search and Rescue Association and Genel Bilgi Teknolojileri Ltd. Şti., the mobile application named “Güvendeyim” (I’m Safe) enables you to notify your relatives of your safety through SMS in the event of emergencies such as earthquakes, floods, fires, or others. To utilize the application, which operates without requiring an internet connection, you need to register at least one person’s phone number and you must have SMS rights.
