Yeşim Bakırküre

She was born in Istanbul. She completed her undergraduate education at MSGSU Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture, after graduating from Italian High School. From 1989 to 1994, she contributed to product development and design at Koleksiyon Furniture. In 1999, she founded Ypsilon Tasarım, where she actively engages in interior design, product and packaging design, exhibition design, and stage design. Several of her product and packaging designs have received prestigious awards such as Red Dot, Pentawards, and Design Turkey. Her interior designs have been showcased in various international publications, including Thames&Hudson, Gestalten, and Sandu. Notably, Karaköy Lokantası, one of her designs, was featured in the Arkitera Architecture Yearbook 2021 and SPACE Best of Interior Design 2022.
